Job Description
Assess company needs and system funtionality, ensuring that ICT facilities meet these needs
Manage
technology to include, workstations, servers, software, peripheral
devices, phone systems, copiers, electronic door locks, etc
Develop
and implement the company\'s ICT plans, obtaining competitive prices
from suppliers where appropriate to ensure cost effectiveness
Maintain smooth running of all systems, including anti-virus software, print services and email provision
Provide secure access to the network for remote users including the Managing Director and senior management
Train new ICT staff and prepare technology and system for new existing staff
Ensure
licenses, registrations, renewals, etc. related to systems and
technology operations and/or services are accurately and timely
completed
Address technology issues/problems and ensure computer networks and workstations are operational and secure
Prepare and conduct presentation and participate in management and systems/technology meetings
Inform trends and innovations in the field of information systems/technology that could benefit the company
Ensure the company\'s websites and internet remain functional, updated and continuously improved
Analyse
information and technology needs from a strategic and operational
perspective and determine requirements and appropriate resources
Remuneration: Negotiable and competitive
Required Skills or Experience
A
degree in Computer technologies, system analysis, information
processing or related studies with a minimum of five (5) years post
qualification experience
Holders of Master\'s degree in Computer Studies or an MBA have a clear advantage
